Bilbao is situated in northern Spain of the coast of the Bay of Biscay, making it a port city. It is an about an hour drive away from San Sebastian, and another thirty minutes from there to get to southern France. Bilbao is famous for its Basque heritage and pintxos that you can find at any local bar. The city is also home to one of the Guggenheim Museums and is best known for its architecture.
